Dvorak in America

Students draw pictures and write poems in response to the music of Antonin Dvorak. In this music-appreciation lesson, students learn about the life and musical compositions of Dvorak. Students study the historical influences upon Dvorak. Students are assessed on their writing, drawings, and poetry created in response to Dvorak's music. The lesson notes that it was designed for ESL students but could be used with other types of learners.
