Students learn about the visits America of the composers Tchaikovsky and Dvorak. In this ELL lesson, students who are new to America will study the American-experience as seen through the eyes of others who were also new to the country. Students will listen to and analyze the music produced by these composers, study their biographies and locations of their trips to America, and create various written responses including poems.
