This Worry Cards activity & project also includes:
Help learners on the autism spectrum build awareness of their feelings of anxiety through a hands-on learning activity. Using a set of cards with examples of the different types of anxiety someone might face, learners discuss ideas of how they can help those characters, as well as whether they identify with those same feelings from time to time.
- Write down the ways your students come up with for helping the characters in the cards, and keep this list handy for continuous reference as they encounter these types of feelings in the future
- While the resource was originally designed for learners on the autism spectrum, it can also apply to general classroom learning environments as part of an emotional development lesson
- Includes link to a site of teaching tips and suggestions for using cards
- Well-designed cards with relevant situations
