Instructional Ideas

  • Play tree-related games, such as I Spy, for brain breaks between activities
  • After brainstorming healthy snacks, allow pupils to bring some in to share with their peers—be sure to adhere to any food allergies or sensitivities 
  • Work with other Kindergarten teachers to conduct activities as an entire grade level, have teachers be in charge of specific activities and rotate classes through each
