With puberty comes lots of changes to one's body. Scholars explore those changes with two lessons that examine the role of the pituitary gland and hormones. In the first lesson, pupils take on the role of the pituitary gland, write a message to their body that describes itself, and explains its purpose when releasing hormones. During the second lesson class members create a Puberty Pete bookmark equipped with facts. A 10-question quiz challenges participants to show what they know.
