The Columbian Exchange

Young scholars are introduced to the events of the Columbian Exchange. In groups, they identify and describe five main areas of cultural exchange between the Spanish and the Native Americans. They examine the economic impact of each area on both groups. To end the lesson, they create a poster sharing this information with their classmates.

I just completed my student teaching in Newark New Jersey. Creating unit plans became a breeze once I joined Lesson Planet. There was a plethora of resources for every CCSS. Thank you. I had veteran teachers asking me where did I get my resources. I am now teaching at my cooperative school. Yeah!!!!!!!!!
