Food Sustainability Unit
Lesson Plans for the week long unit about food sustainability. This unit talks about the different aspects of food and how it relates to sustainability. Day one considers the importance of a healthy diet and how malnutrition and over nutrition effects the body. Day two has to do with how food is grown, and the physical processes involved. Day three discusses how food gets from the farm to the table. Day four is about the sustainability of the practices that we have in place, and day five wraps it up with a service learning project at a local Feed My Starving Children.
