Climate Change in My Backyard: Grades 5-6, Unit 2
Collector:
Ann V.
In the second unit in a series of four, fifth and sixth graders learn about the difference between weather and climate. Scholars look at historical and recent climate data, regional and global trends, to understand that climate change does not impact areas of the globe equally. The unit concludes with individuals crafting a persuasive essay in which they demonstrate what they have learned about the impacts of natural and human-induced climate change.
